Revision as of 10:03, February 8, 2022 by Flarco (talk | contribs) (→‎Trivia)

The OrionRank Ultimate: Eclipse lists the world's top 150 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate smashers from April 2020 to December 2021, as compiled by Reddit users Barnard's Loop and FreezieBeatz. The ranking period was extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with no tournaments ranked after Smash World Tour 2021 Championships.

Methodology

The following links are for OrionStats 2021, a larger project that OrionRank Ultimate: Eclipse was part of. OrionRank does not count invitationals, besides those in Smash World Tour 2021.

Trivia

  • Jdizzle is the only player in the rankings to come from Oceania, which also makes him the only player in the top 150 to not appear in the regional rankings.
  • Several smashers, including Zinoto, Cloudy, HIKARU, eMass, Eko, FriskyCissin and Luugi, were unranked or underranked because of a manual error during the compilation of the rankings. As a response, these players were given spots inbetween their proper ranking (such as 113.5 for Zinoto), and it was announced that the next iteration of OrionRank would be fully automated[1][2].
