Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Fox (SSBU)

Fox (フォックス, Fox) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

  • Change Fox's outfit is based off of his attire from Star Fox Zero, though his face still mildly resembles his look from Star Fox Command.
  • Change Fox now snarls when performing one of his idle animations.

Ground attacks

  • Change Fox's jab is slightly re-animated, with him standing more upright rather than lunging forward.
  • Nerf Down tilt has more ending lag.

Special Moves

  • Change Fox has a new Final Smash involving an Arwing strike.
  • Nerf Fox can no longer stall his reflector.
  • Nerf Fox Illusion will immediately halt when it hits a shielded opponent. It also has more startup lag, and more ending lag when used on the ground.
