Nintendude is a smasher from Ithaca, New York and Westchester County, New York who currently resides in Rockville, Maryland. He is currently ranked 1st on the DMV Melee Power Rankings and 25th in the 2015 SSBMRank, and was formerly ranked 8th on the MD/VA Project M Power Rankings and 25th on the unfinished Smash 64 ELO Rating.
He is considered to be one of the best Melee Ice Climbers players in the world along with ChuDat, Wobbles and Fly Amanita, having defeated top players such as PewPewU, Zhu, KirbyKaze, Hax, Mew2King, Westballz, and Plup. He is mostly known for his high use of wobbling, along with many creative setups to maximize its use. He is also a notable Mario and Pikachu player in Smash 64, and has taken sets off high-level players such as Fireblaster, Revan and Stranded in tournament. He mains Mr. Game & Watch in Project M.
Nintendude is also one of the most prominent tournament organizers on the east coast. In addition to being a staff member of Apex from 2010 until 2015, he administered the Smash @ Clarendon tournament series in Arlington, VA, in addition to other large local tournaments such as PrEVO 2015. Nintendude was also a head organizer for Super Smash Con and PAX Prime 2015. He is a moderator on the /r/smashbros subreddit, where his username is "Elbedhar". In April 2016, Nintendude also helped organize Pound 2016. Nintendude is currently a member of Splyce, which was formerly known as FolloweSports.com.
