Miles "Tails" Prower

Miles Prower, better known by his nickname, Tails (テイルス, Teirusu), is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. He first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and assists Sonic in the majority of the game and most games. He is notably Sonic's most trusted sidekick and has the ability to fly with his two tails, hence his nickname. Despite his young age, he is a mechanical genius, matching smarts with Dr. Eggman himself, having created the combat plane known as the Tornado, which received numerous revisions to adapt to various conditions and situations. He looks up to Sonic as a brother figure and since Sonic Adventure, has seen more active and serious roles, becoming a hero in his own right.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Tails, along with Knuckles the Echidna and Silver the Hedgehog, are background characters in the Green Hill Zone stage. Tails is also seen as a Sticker and a Trophy in the game.

Trophy Description

A friendly fox with two tails whose true name is Miles Prower. He can fly for a limited time by spinning his tails rapidly. Originally impressed by the sight of the speedy Sonic, Tails became his sidekick, rarely leaving his side. To assist Sonic in staying one upon Dr. Eggman, Tails utilizes his knowledge of electrical engineering to create mechanical devices.
