Let's talk about something. The Awesome 16:54, 27 June 2012 (EDT)

Cleanup tags

Sometimes they speak for themselves. A cleanup tag not having a reason for its placement is not an excuse to remove the cleanup tag, it obviously has a reason to be there, specified or not. Have a read through the articles you are de-cleaning, you might see why. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 17:42, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

Also, it's a bit hypocritical to be removing them for not having a reason, when you yourself have added cleanup tags without a reason, which agains leads me to believe you are simply trying to inflate your edit count. BlindColours Boing.png 17:47, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

Mainspace edits

Hey, OT my mainspace edits are now on the top of the list. Does this means I'm out of the woods? The Awesome 18:07, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

So I was right. You made several uneeded edits just so you could be able to edit your userpage over and over without worrying about probation. Just because you have 1 more mainspace edit than userpage edit doesn't mean you're off the hook you know. BlindColours Boing.png 18:10, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

You know, I already had half a mind to hand you a one-day block for making scads of stub/cleanup tag edits, the vast majority of which had to be undone because they demonstrated complete and utter lack of comprehension as to what is a stub and/or what requires cleanup, and now you've basically admitted you only did it to drive down your userspace edit ratio. Consider this a warning. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Xanthic 18:21, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

To clarify, making a bunch of edits (for the sole purpose of inflating edit count) that have to be reverted is disrupting the wiki, which is a blockable offense. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 22:29, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

This edit

Don't touch things you don't understand, let alone destroy a heavily-used template. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Metroid 18:25, 4 October 2012 (EDT)

Yo yo yo

Stop editin for a bit, OT will come along and tell you what's wrong with your edits in a few minutes. MegaTron1XD:p 14:00, 6 October 2012 (EDT)

All right, can you tell me what's wrong with my edits, I am just adding some words. The Awesome 14:03, 6 October 2012 (EDT)

Tip

Alright, I'm going to lay this out very simply for you.

Before you make an edit, think about whether the edit is absolutely necessary.

How does this, for example, improve the article? In this case, you are literally replacing a word with a synonym. Even minor edits like spelling and grammar fixing still help the article. You have been warned about this before. I am not an admin, so I am not in the position to call this a "last warning", but in my experience, users who ignore previous warnings and advice are not thought of very highly by the community. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 18:04, 6 October 2012 (EDT)

It's clear that you are not thinking about your edits. Please take some time to think about your edits instead of just taking three seconds to perform the task without thought. Removing the speedy deletion tag was completely unnecessary and is most likely the result of you still not thinking about your edits. MegaTron1XD:p 18:53, 10 October 2012 (EDT)

So that you actually know what you did wrong, I'll tell you. There was no reason on the D tag because it completely spoke for itself. Category:VIP Contributors had been replaced by Category:VIP contributots, with the capital letter lower-cased. But here's a handy hint; If you see a speedy delete tag on a page, there will be a reason, and if you question its place, ask somebody about it, don't just remove it. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 18:59, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
Thank you toast for the tip. Next time I'll be a little bit more careful of my edits. The Awesome 19:15, 10 October 2012 (EDT)

Don't welcome users

Who have had an account for a long time and have already left the Wiki. Please, it's common sense. MegaTron1XD:p 19:05, 7 October 2012 (EDT)

"Needs more images"

...is an incredibly pointless and useless thing to say. If you think an article needs images, then explain what images you think it needs. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Breegull 12:48, 8 October 2012 (EDT)

As I put in my edit summary

If three consoles were released in North America before Japan, then it's not notable trivia, as it does not apply to a big minority. Now allow me to remove your trivia, and don't revert me without providing a good reason. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 16:36, 8 October 2012 (EDT)

Additionally, did you read this on your first talk page archive? [1] This doesn't just apply to stub tags, it applies to all tags. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 16:38, 8 October 2012 (EDT)

"I'm not talking to you"

If a user answers your question, don't just ignore it because they weren't supposed to answer it. MegaTron1XD:p 21:51, 14 October 2012 (EDT)

To clarify, while your question was indeed asked towards Air Conditioner, Mega was commenting on your tone and the way you were asking. That is legitimate feedback that you should pay attention to. In this specific case, Air Conditioner had already denied you your request. This is the internet, which means that simply saying "pleeeeaaaase?" only seems annoying to others. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 23:19, 14 October 2012 (EDT)

FYI

Yes. Smash Master 21:10, 7 January 2013 (EST)
Okay. I asked that because The Awesome's socks may have actually been his siblings. Is it that hard to understand? Now, everyone, stop posting, nothing constructive can be gained from this. Air Conditioner AC.png is fast asleep 21:13, 7 January 2013 (EST)

Wait, if he is your brother, why didn't you or R.O.Bity say anything about it before? Terrible is 2013 CE 17:29, 8 January 2013 (EST)

SW:SOCK

Hi, when doing a check user on this IP after a user brought up its suspicious contributions, the IP came back to you and R.O.BitySonic. You and Robity also had a couple of more IP matches, and when I looked through his and IP's contributions, they only had edits to Smash Arena, Suggestions, and your contest userpage. Robity's userpage also claim to be from New York, when he has been on Canadian IPs. If you thought you could get away with sock puppets to evade probation and to get extra votes in Smash Arena, remember the admins have check user and will use it when suspicious. The Cool has also been permabanned, for another IP match and the suspiciousness of his contributions being identical to yours that don't match up with you being "just friends".

Now if all of these are really different friends of yours that don't know how to not edit from your computer, you will have to provide proof for each of their existence, otherwise we will assume you are all one and the same. You will also be put on six month probation for attempting to abuse sock puppets on Smash Arena/Suggestions/your image contest. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 21:14, 7 January 2013 (EST)

So you know

Just so you know, your probation has expired. Scr7Wolfsig.png 09:05, 2 August 2013 (EDT)

Thank you for letting me know, but as you said before I did know about the expiration. The Awesome Awesomesig.png 09:09, 2 August 2013 (EDT)

Your edits

How does replacing the word "the" with "this" improve an article at all? Before you make any more edits, read what other people have told you on your talk page already, and find something else you can contribute to, instead of replacing a word with a synonym and clogging up Recent Changes. Awesome Cardinal 2000 19:49, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

I'm going to chime in here, and tell you that you are still on the border of indefinite probation. Your ban ended about six months ago, yet you only come back now once your probation ended; this looks really bad on you, and reinforces the belief that you're just here for Smash Arena and your userpage. Additionally, you're still making the same useless edits just to inflate your mainspace edit count. Here's the thing, and you're only being told once; if you don't turn things around and start putting some serious effort into improving the wiki within the week, you will be put on indefinite probation. Additionally, if you keep making the same useless edits just to inflate mainspace edit count, you will receive a week ban, on top of indefinite probation.

Also, I'm going to bar you from entering my Smash 4 prediction contest until you're no longer in serious risk for probation. I'll give you some slack here though, and count your ballot as being entered today, in the case that you reach satisfactory status after more character confirmations (thus if you predicted someone, and they get confirmed before you're allowed to formally enter, they will be counted as correct predictions instead of you having to make new predictions). Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 23:48, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

Oh I just noticed your ballot is invalid anyway, as you got Pikachu on it when he's a character that was already confirmed in the trailers (you're allowed to quickly fix it now without it being held against you). Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 23:54, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

SW:SOCK

A check user revealed that you are most probably the same user as Awesome101, and with a past of sockpuppetry to evade probation, I have no reason to doubt this.

If you are legitimately not Awesome101, proof must be provided to prove you aren't. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 15:50, 29 September 2013 (EDT)

May I ask how a user provides proof that two accounts are not socks? Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:02, 29 September 2013 (EDT)
A user can make their case on how they're not, and Awesome101 can link us to another Wiki account or something of ilk, where we can deduce from his behavior there if he is the same person as The Awesome or not. It's not difficult. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 16:04, 29 September 2013 (EDT)
