The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters.   7. Who said this had to be brawl Samus? After all, that's just a picture. While both Link and Samus are viable in Melee (being lenient on the definition of viable), Samus is a much better characters having an infinitely better recovery and zoning abilities. Those missiles are so very annoying. She is really hard to edgeguard; even Marth has to work for those gimps. Link dies after 1 down tilt. But if you kiddies must insist on talking about brawl, Samus still wins. She has a high tier counterpart with items to start the match as well as a long glide toss to complement them.   14. In the era of Ken, this stage was considered the most balanced stage in melee. Since then, that title has been given to battlefield, but this stage is still one of my favorite counterpicks when Yoshi's Story or FD is banned. I'm a little uncertain when I counterpick this stage against Space animals, but I think Marth goes even against them on this field. There is enough room in the middle to chain throw them and the platforms are low enough like Yoshi's Story such that I can trap them with up tilts and up airs. --BrianDon't try me!Falco.gif 14:11, 9 December 2012 (EST)

  1. I pick Frozen. Offensively, it's not as impressive, as burying your opponents basically earns you a free KO whereas KOing an opponent with a freeze attack is situational at best (especially if Freezie is turned off; Freezie's utility is more limited than the Pitfall's but at least when it makes contact it can KO). Defensively, well, I'd much rather be Frozen than Buried. I would like to point out IP 68 that Fox's flies up much slower and not as high as Falco's and Wolf's, and as such is not really effective at KO via lifting people past the top.
