SSBBRank 2016-2017

The 2016-2017 SSBBRank is a list compiled by the Brawl Bois Community that ranks the world's top 20 Super Smash Bros. Brawl players from 2016 to 2017. The rankings were revealed live on the Brawl Bois' Twitch channel on January 15th, 2018. They were later posted on Smashboards and the Super Smash Bros. subreddit.

Method

The list was compiled by a panel of Brawl players including Ironwolf, KVLT, Gardex, Luigisama, and Mikeray4. A total of eight tournaments were evaluated for the rankings. These tournaments were divided into three tiers based on the amount of entrants and the skill level of each entrant. These tiers and tournaments included:

• S Tier: Super Smash Con 2016 and Super Smash Con 2017
• A Tier: Get On My Level 2016, Get On My Level 2017, and CEO Dreamland
• B Tier: Revival of Brawl, Garelaf 11, and Garelaf X

The tournaments from 2016, while still vital to the rankings, were deemed less crucial than the tournaments that took place in 2017. This is due to the fact that players' performances can greatly fluctuate in the span of one year.
