2GG: Prime Saga is an upcoming national Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament being held in La Mirada, California on April 13th-14th, 2019. It is named after the Metroid Prime sub-series of the Metroid series. The tournament is themed after the Metroid franchise, flying in Metroid universe fighter mains and featuring many activities and events inspired by the franchise. It will be the first 2GG Saga for Ultimate and the first Saga since 2GG: Hyrule Saga in June 2018.

Trivia
- This tournament continued the "2GG curse", in which no Saga has ever been won by a featured player of the tournament. YB, the highest placing player of a character from Metroid series, placed 13th.
- Nairo, who used Zero Suit Samus in pools, placed 4th, but was disqualified from breaking the curse as he used primarily Palutena on the second day of the tournament.
