Isabelle is a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. She was announced as a newcomer at the end of a Nintendo Direct on September 13th, 2018.


Attributes

  • Isabelle's moveset shares some similarities to Villager, such as a similar dash attack and the use of Pocket, but many of her moves differ as well, and she is not classified as an Echo Fighter.

  • Isabelle is the fourth character to be announced in Ultimate that was previously featured as a Mii costume in Super Smash Bros. 4, the others being Inkling, Chrom, and King K. Rool.
  • Isabelle is the third playable character who was originally an Assist Trophy, following Little Mac and Dark Samus.
  • Isabelle is the 1st confirmed female canine fighter in smash.
  • isabelle is the 2nd fighter to be based on a domesticated breed of canine, the first being Duck Hunt.
