Isabelle is a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. She was announced as a newcomer at the end of a Nintendo Direct on September 13th, 2018.

• Isabelle's moveset shares some similarities to Villager, such as a similar dash attack and the use of Pocket, but many of her moves differ as well, and she is not classified as an Echo Fighter.

Trivia

• Isabelle is the fourth character to be announced in Ultimate that was previously featured as a Mii costume in Super Smash Bros. 4, the others being Inkling, Chrom, and King K. Rool.
  • Isabelle is also the second playable character to be announced that was previously an Assist Trophy, the first one making as playable character was Little Mac in Super Smash Bros. 4.
