Hey, I'm Aaron Kirschner, known on the Smash Wiki as Clarinet Hawk. Most of my personal information is on my smasher page, but this is where I talk about my work on this wiki. My focus is on gameplay information and I have authored pages on techniques such as Spring Canceling and Guard Breaking. I am a talented smasher, and have learned Wavedashing, teching, and other high-level techniques. In addition to gameplay information, I work as a sysop, so I deal with general wikifying and fact checking, as well as reverting vandalism. Let me know about anything you need help with and I will make sure you get the information you need.

I have also authored a Sacrificial KO FAQ on GameFAQs.

I'll also add that The Fish on Summit is just about the coolest thing to happen to video games since Final Fantasy VII.

Current Favorite Quote on a Wiki

Tbh, fuck you. He's a stupid shit, and instead of containing his stupidity to userspace, he tries to spread it on talk pages. My post was a request to get him to stop, since stupidity without limits is a very bad thing. You can use your role as sysop to defend stupidity and let it flourish or you can use it to raise the bar - up to you. But don't pretend like you're doing the wiki a favor by banning me when I'm just playing the role of captain obvious. -Auron 13:16, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

About me (not as a Smasher)

I'm presently in my third year of study at the University of Iowa, where I am pursuing a degree in Music. My primary area is composition and theory, and I also study clarinet performance. I've held principal positions in all major bands and orchestras in the school, and am currently serving as the principal bass clarinetist of the Symphony Band, and the low clarinet specialist for the school. I generally spend between five and seven hours a day (although this has gone as high as, no joke, twelve hours in a single day) involved in music study of some kind, be it writing, score study, listening, or playing. The rest of my time is generally spent either involved in Smash related things, or watching or playing football. I played football a bit in high school, but now just play for fun and watch most of the games that are on. Obviously, my college team is the Hawkeyes. As for pros, it's all about the Baltimore Ravens. That's most of the information about me. Oh, and I also am very intrigued by game theory and read books on it just for fun.

How to become a sysop

All right, I want to get Banjo-Kazooie for XBox live, but don't want to pay for the points. So, if you give me a working code for at least 1200 Microsoft points, it can't hurt your chances to become a sysop.
