Born in the 2010s is an Event Tourney that will run from 6 a.m. on July 2, 2021 to 6 a.m. on July 5, 2021 (UTC). During the event, only characters and stages that originated from games released during the 2010s can be used.

Trivia

• Although Hero was absent from the proceeding decade tournaments due to the Luminary, the default costume, debuting in 2017, he is not present in this tourney.
• DLC stages Mementos, Yggdrasil's Altar, Garreg Mach Monastery, Spring Stadium, Minecraft World and Cloud Sea of Alrest are the only stages from a 2010s game not present in the event.
• Living Room is the only stage present in the event to not debut in a 2010s game. Although it is specifically based off of Nintendogs + Cats, released in 2011, the general concept first appeared in the original Nintendogs, released in 2005.
