BestNess is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ness player with a strong Palutena secondary from Utah who is considered to be one of the two best Ness players in the world along with Gackt. He is currently ranked 1st on the Utah Ultimate Power Rankings and 43rd on the Fall 2019 PGRU. He has taken sets off of top players that include Light, Dark Wizzy, WaDi, Abadango, Pandarian, VoiD, Goblin, and Prodigy.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, BestNess was also a Ness player who was considered to be the best Ness player in the world by the end of the game's active lifespan and one of the best Ness players of all time, alongside FOW and Gackt. BestNess is currently ranked 1st on the Utah Power Rankings. He is also known for his doubles prowess with Diablo, placing 5th at GameTyrant Expo 2017, and 7th at The Big House 7. He has taken sets off of top players such as ANTi, Shuton, Elegant, Larry Lurr, Vinnie, Darkshad, Light, Shoyo James, Zenyou, Charlie, JK, and Captain L.

Trivia
- BestNess commonly switches his ingame tag to "FitNess" whenever he uses Wii Fit Trainer, both as a pun and to keep the name "Ness" in his tag.
- When BestNess performs well with another character than Ness (like when he beat MkLeo at The Quarantine Series with Piranha Plant), the community parodies his tag by changing the "Ness" part for the character he won with (BestPlant in that case).
