MLG World Finals 2015 was a national tournament held in New Orleans, Louisiana from October 16th-18th, 2015 and directed with the assistance of CLASH Tournaments. It featured singles and doubles for Super Smash Bros. Melee and, for the first time in MLG history, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, featuring a $10,000 prize pot for both, alongside other games. It is the 100th overall MLG tournament, including tournaments that did not feature Smash games. Notably, this tournament was the end of ZeRo's 56-tournament win streak at Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It also marks the third time a Luigi main has made Top 8 in a Melee national, and the first time a Luigi other than Abate has done so.
