Yuri Kozukata is a character from the Fatal Frame series. She is one of the main protagonists of the fifth game in the series, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Yuri is set to appear as an Assist Trophy in this game. When summoned, she would aim her camera at fighters and take a picture; the flash will momentarily stun the fighters and give them an effect that continues to damage the fighter, even after she disappears.
Origin
Yuri is one of the main protagonists of Maiden of the Black Water. She's a 19-year-old teenager who survived a car accident that killed her whole family; because of the accident, she developed a "Sixth Sense", or the ability to see ghosts. Throughout the game, she helps the other protagonists do their stuff. In the good ending, she lifts a curse from the main antagonist of the story, Ouse Kurosawa, and ends up on a warm beach with Hisoka Kurosawa, while in the bad ending, she jumps off a cliff along with Ouse.
