Villager (むらびと, Villager) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, officially confirmed on June 12th, 2018.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

  • Change As with all veterans returning from SSB4, Villager's model features a more subdued color scheme. His clothing now features simple detailing. His model and textures otherwise appear unchanged.
  • Change Villager now faces more towards the screen like many other characters.
  • Change Dash animation has changed.
  • Change Villager's bowling ball from his forward smash now lingers a bit on the ground.
  • Change Players can now see what's inside the Villager's Pocket on the character HUD.

Ground attacks

  • Buff Villager's neutral infinite now has a finisher, a straight jab.

Special Moves

  • Buff Villager can now Pocket items using his net.
  • Change Dream Home now has the house rotate while Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy build it.
