Toon Link (トゥーンリンク, Toon Link) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was offically confirmed as playable on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
As with all veterans returning from SSB4, Toon Link's model features a more subdued color scheme. His clothing features simple woven and stitch detailing, similar to Brawl, though his hair remains clay-like.- At least some of the textures of Toon Link's face have been modified. His brow is more furrowed, and his mouth looks less organic, as if it was literally drawn on his face.
- Like many returning characters, Toon Link is significantly more expressive, and he now sports angrier expressions by default.
- Toon Link's down taunt appears to last longer.
Ground Attacks
- Toon Link appears to have a new forward and up smash.
