Trivia
- TSM-sponsored smashers Leffen and ZeRo, both of whom had respectively won Super Smash Con 2015 in Melee and Smash 4, notably failed to defend their titles.
- Leffen could not defend his Melee title in any capacity, due to his ongoing visa issues surrounding his sponsor.
- ZeRo finished in 13th after losing to Day in the winner's bracket and Ally in the loser's bracket. This finish stood as his worst placing in a Smash 4 tournament until his 49th place finish at 2GGC: Civil War.
