Tomodachi Life (トモダチコレクション, Tomodachi Collection, lit Friend Collection) is a stage in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS based on the game of the same name. It was confirmed on March 14th, 2014.

Overview

Overall, the stage appears to have a similar gameplay mechanic to the Brawl stage Luigi's Mansion, where the stage's front walls will disappear if anyone is standing behind them, and vice versa. Additionally, Miis have been shown to appear in the stage's background, though to what extent of frequency is currently unknown. The interiors for each of the six rooms appear to be random. The ferris wheel of Leisure Island's amusement park can be seen in the background.

The stage is based off of the Tomodachi series, specifically Tomodachi Life. It takes place inside various rooms in Mii Apartments, where players' Miis reside.

Trivia

The day section of the music is from Tomodachi Life, while the night section of the music is from Tomodachi Collection.
