Beehive is an item in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. 4. It is a throwing item, and it appears the beehive spawns bees that damages the player who gets hit by the beehive; however, if the attacker throws the beehive on the ground, the beehive will shatter and the bees will attack the person who threw the beehive.
Origin
The beehive item originates from the Animal Crossing games, and it is present in every installment of the series. Beehives occasionally fall out of oak and cedar trees when shaken.
