Maesuma'JAPAN West 24 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate invitational tournament part of the Maesuma series held in Hirakata, Japan, from August 31st-September 1st, 2024. The event was the sequel of JAPAN 24.
Format
The round-robin group phase on December 24th had 4 groups of 6, which decided the final 16-person double-elimination bracket on December 25th. 1st and 2nd place in each group advanced to Winners, 3rd and 4th advanced to Losers, and 5th and 6th were eliminated. Any ties were broken by least games lost, then, if needed, by head-to-head record.

Declined players
- hero, Hurt, Lv.1, and Sidarezakura were replaced at the last minute. Hurt cited Typhoon Shanahan for staying in Kyūshū. [citation needed]
- Carmelo was able to be a last minute replacement due to the cancellation of Karisuma for safety concerns related to the Typhoon.
