Hard 'n' Heavy Metal was a Spirit Board event focused on spirits with metallic bodies. It ran from 6 a.m. on March 1, 2019 to 6 a.m. on March 4, 2019 (UTC), and was repeated on the following dates:

  • 6 a.m. on February 10, 2023 to 6 a.m. on February 13, 2023 (UTC)

During the event, defeating spirits on the Spirit Board which were part of the event awarded more Gold than usual.

Get ready for some metallic mayhem—spirits with metal bodies have crashed on to the Spirit Board. Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual.
Legend-class spirits Mecha-Fiora and Ness's Father, along with Ace-class spirit Metal Mario will also appear at set times. Take a look![1][2][3]

PAL regions[edit]

Time for some metallic mayhem as spirits with metal bodies crash onto the Spirit Board! Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual.
The Legend-class Mecha-Fiora and Ness's Father, plus the Ace-class Metal Mario will also appear at set times. Take a look![4][5][6]
