Trivia

  • Mario + Rabbids and Banjo-Kazooie series composer Grant Kirkhope was first hinted about the prospect of Banjo and Kazooie in Smash 64 when Davide Soliani, creative director of the former title, emailed him asking for his contact information on behalf of Nintendo saying Nintendo loved what Grant has done for the Mario + Rabbids soundtrack and wanted his help on an unspecified piece of music. Kirkhope was initially skeptical and speculated if it could be Banjo and Kazooie in Smash, but accepted the offer anyway; upon realizing that he was being asked to arrange music for Banjo & Kazooie's appearance in Ultimate, he was incredibly excited to return to the characters.[1]
