MLG Las Vegas 2006 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee national tournament held by Major League Gaming in Las Vegas, Nevada, during November 18th-19th, 2006. It was the final tournament in the MLG 2006 circuit, and the last time Melee was featured in an MLG circuit until MLG Anaheim 2014 nearly eight years later.
This tournament is notable for having the largest prize pool in a Melee tournament for several years, until EVO 2015, with singles and doubles having a pot of $18,000 each. At this tournament, PC Chris won the championship and received a prize check in a Melee tournament of $10,000; again, that amount was not topped until EVO 2015.
