(Changed "NES" in Console of Origin to "Nintendo Entertainment System" to make it more consistent with other pages.)
(When Castlevania was first released anywhere in the world (In this case, Japan), it was exclusive to a peripheral (In this case, the Famicom Disk System), so I think that should be worth listing to "Console of origin".)

Article on Wikipedia Alucard (Castlevania)

Alucard (アルカード, Alucard), full name Adrian Fahrenheit Ţepeş, is the human/vampire hybrid son of Dracula, and recurring character in the Castlevania series. He first appeared as in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse as a supporting playable character alongside Trevor Belmont, with the purpose of defeating his father. After defeating his father, he goes into an eternal slumber. However, it wouldn't be until Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, where he would be awakened due to the disappearance of a Belmont.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Alucard appears as an Assist Trophy, using his sword the Crissaegrim, transforming into a bat, and avoiding attacks by transforming into mist when in the air and performing a back dash when on the ground. According to Masahiro Sakurai, he is one of the harder Assist Trophies to KO.

Origin

Stub.png

Alucard is a playable character in Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse and the main protagonist in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. His weapon as an Assist Trophy is the Crissaegrim, an extremely rare and powerful sword in Symphony of the Night that allows the wielder to attack while running, as opposed to his iconic Alucard Sword. He is also capable of using the Veil of Mist, a transformation that lets him travel through certain walls and avoid attacks completely, Soul of Bat, a bat transformation that leads into the Wing Smash tackle, and both his divekick and backdash, which has become standard abilities for all Castlevania main characters since their introduction.
