Wolf (ウルフ, Wolf) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Aesthetics
- Wolf is now based off of his appearance in Star Fox Zero, while borrowing some few elements from his design in Star Fox Assault.
- Wolf now stands upright consistently similar to Yoshi and Bowser, and now holds a new pose instead of standing upright for a second and then hunching over.
- Wolf has a new dashing animation.
- Wolf has a new idle animation, a beckoning gesture similar to one of Fox's idle animations. He also has an animation where he flicks his nose with his thumb while smirking.
- Wolf now has a different crouching animation.
Ground attacks
- Neutral attack has a much cleaner look overall. The ending hit is now a third claw swipe, instead of a dashing bite.
- Wolf's dash attack is now a short ranged kick.
Aerial attacks
- Wolf now has a Fox-like neutral aerial that acts like a sex kick.
- Forward aerial has an altered animation.
Throws/other attacks
- Forward throw has a new animation.
- Up throw has a new animation. Wolf now jumps and slashes the opponent with one, instead of two like in Brawl. The animation is also cleaner overall.
- Wolf has a new down throw. Wolf now grabs the opponent by the head and then slams them into the ground.
Special moves
- Wolf has a new firing animation for his Blaster. It also has a new design and updated sound effects.
- Wolf appears to have a new Final Smash where he uses his Wolfen alongside his crew.
