Aarvark is a smasher from Southern California who is considered to be the best Smash 4 Villager player in the United States, in front of MJG and SS. He has wins on players such as VoiD, Mr. ConCon, Vinnie, False, Tyrant, K9sbruce, falln, Static, Xzax and many more. In addition, he is currently locked doubles partners with Elegant, and since their debut at FOW Saga, they have been tearing up the local doubles scene in SoCal. One of Aarvark's "breakthrough" tournaments was 2GGT: KTAR Saga, where he placed 9th, beating Vinnie, Phoenix and False, the latter of which was in a close game 5 set, then lose to Tyrant right before Top 8. In addition he has placed 9th at two more 2GG tournaments, as well as 5th at Pay it Forward, where he beat falln in pools. More recently, he notably placed 17th at The Big House 6, beating Static during the Top 32.
Aarvark is known in the SoCal scene for being a huge factor in renovating the Smash scene, as he has inspired high schoolers over the region to play Smash competitively. He is currently ranked 12th on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings.
