Rosalina (ロゼッタ, Rosetta) is a character from the Mario series. She was confirmed as a newcomer to Super Smash Bros. 4 on December 18, 2013 via Nintendo Direct.
Character Description
Rosalina has appeared in both Super Mario Galaxy games in non-playable roles. In the first Super Mario Galaxy, she runs the Comet Observatory, which is the home of herself and the Lumas. It passes by her home planet every one hundred years. Her back story is explained in a storybook read to the lumas at various points during the game. Rosalina also appears in Super Mario Galaxy 2 after the player collects all 242 Power Stars.
