Lucina (ルキナ, Rukina) is a major character from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Her father is Chrom.

Character Description

Lucina hails from a different timeline than Chrom or Robin; she travels to their timeline due to Grima destroying the world in her own. Desperate to reverse this event, she and other children characters travel back in time to make the future a better place. She initially hides her identity by tying her hair back and wearing a mask given to her by one of the other children characters. During this time, she takes on the identity of "Marth", and often runs into Chrom and the Shepherds, saving Lissa on one occasion and fighting Chrom in Arena Ferox in another, but she does not reveal herself until Chrom's curiosity persists and he learns that she is in fact, her daughter from the future. They share a reunion and she decides to fight onward with the Shepherds as Lucina, the "name that reminds (her) of the strength of the man and woman who chose it".

In game, she is the second Lord in the game (inheriting this class from Chrom), and the only children character whose recruitment is required. As she is pivotal to the story, she is one of the few units that will not be permanently lost, even in classic mode.
