Spike Tops are a confirmed Smash Run enemy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. They wield a spike on their back, which deals 4% damage, and possess the ability to walk on walls.

Origin

Spike Tops are enemies in the Mario games. They are similar to Buzzy Beetles in appearance, except they have a red shell, rather than a blue one, and a spike in the center of the shell.
