Article on Wikipedia Tails (character)

Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails (テイルス, Tails), is a character from the Sonic series.

Origin

The title screen of the 16-bit Sega Genesis version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, with Tails and Sonic.

Tails first appeared in the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear, and is one of the main characters of the Sonic series. He is Sonic's most trusted sidekick and has the ability to fly with his two tails, hence his nickname. Despite his young age, he is a mechanical genius, matching smarts with Dr. Eggman himself, having created various revisions and remodels to the Tornado, a plane originally made by Sonic. He looks up to Sonic as a brother figure and has appeared in many games, including three of his own, Tails Adventure, Tails and the Music Maker and Tails' Skypatrol.
