Overview[edit]
Captain Falcon performs a downward stomp with both feet. If sweetspotted, it is a strong meteor smash. It otherwise sends opponents diagonally with even higher knockback. Aside from duration, its timing bears a striking resemblance to Falco's. This move is an excellent high-risk, high-reward option when edgeguarding, as it can KO characters offstage at low percent thanks to its high knockback and meteor smash angle. This especially powerful against characters with poor vertical recoveries, such as Donkey Kong. It also allows Falcon to perform powerful footstool combos by following up a footstool with a fastfall down aerial - this can lock the opponent, or bounce them up into the air for additional follow-ups (including another footstool). Examples of footstool combos can be seen here.
