Luigi is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was revealed along with the rest of the roster on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Luigi's appearance is based from his most recent appearances such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey.
Aesthetics
- Like most of the returning roster, Luigi has become much more expressive than in the previous games.
- Luigi has a new dash animation that is akin to how he runs in games such as Super Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros. U.
- His attacks are much more vibrant such as a vortex forming when he preforms Luigi Cyclone, spinning when using when Green Missile misfires, or wincing in the final part of his up taunt.
