Phosphora (エレカ, Ereka, also known by her full title 電光のエレカ, Ereka of Lightning) is a supporting character in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Origin[edit]
Phosphora is one of the captains of Viridi's Forces of Nature. She first appears in chapter 14, initially defeating Thanatos who assumed a glowing dragon form at the time. Pit fights her at the end of the chapter. She reappears in Chapter 20 to retrieve the Lightning Chariot after Pit disembarks from it.
Phosphora's original English voice actress was Kari Wahlgren, but was changed to Stephanie Komure in SSB4 due to conflicts.
In Super Smash Bros. 4[edit]
As an Assist Trophy[edit]
Phosphora appears in Super Smash Bros. 4 as an Assist Trophy. Once summoned, she says "Yes, you called?" and soars around and teleports around the stage while unleashing electric attacks on opponents in the form of a big, blue sphere (which deals 10%) which can go through the stage; three small, yellow spheres (each one deals 13%); or three quick, thin, white shots (each one deals 8%, and sets up the next shot for a potential 24%). Characters can attack Phosphora, but she will only flinch, and will not be defeated.
In Smash Tour[edit]
Phosphora's trophy is one of the red items that can be collected during Smash Tour. When used before a battle, it will grant the player the ability to land instantly by tapping down.
Trophy[edit]
- Phosphora
- Phosphora is a young, beautiful, fierce commander of the Forces of Nature. She also has control over electricity, letting her move at shockingly high speed. When I write it out like that, it sounds like she has everything! Well, I did hear she isn't a great singer...
- Some people are just too talented for their own good, and Phosphora is one of those people. A commander of the Forces of Nature, she has speed, strength and the power of electricity on her side. However, everybody has their flaws, and maybe – just maybe – her singing's not that great.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
As an Assist Trophy[edit]
Phosphora returns as an Assist Trophy with the same attack patterns she used in before, albeit KOing her will now earn a point. Unlike in SSB4, she now faces the screen regardless of which direction she faces. Training Mode describes her Assist Trophy: Moves around at lightning speed, shooting three types of electric attacks. She cannot be summoned on Great Bay, and Minecraft World.
Spirit[edit]
Phosphora also appears as an Ace-class support spirit. She can be summoned using the cores of Elec Man and Rotom.
