The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. (The dark circle seems to be pretty common with other effects in Ult, so I'm not sure if it is a property of chain or attacks in general)

This article is about a visual effect found on Simon and Richter's whip attacks. For Sheik's side special in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, see Chain.
Simon hitting Fox with his forward smash, triggering the chain effect.

The chain effect is used by a small amount of attacks in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. They are exclusively used for Simon and Richter's attacks that feature the long chain of their whip.

The chain effect is entirely cosmetic: it applies a stabbing visual effect, a straight line in the direction of the attack. It is similar to stab except with green and chartreuse coloring (instead of yellow and purple) followed by a crescent-shaped visual effect going in the same direction.
