PGRU v2 marks the first time invitationals are counted, however it has been noted that players still need to participate in a certain amount of tournaments in order to qualify. The international multiplier returns, this time also including PGR-ranked players. Finally, each player counts as 2 points for continental tournaments, or 2.5 points for international tournaments.

PGRU v2 marked the first time invitationals were counted, although players were still required to participate in a certain amount of tournaments in order to qualify for the rankings. The international multiplier returned and factored in PGR-ranked players: each player was counted as 2 points for continental tournaments or 2.5 points for international tournaments. Finally, the B-tier threshold was lowered to 600 points.

==Trivia==
*This is the first PGR list where there are more international players than American players: Americans take up 24 spots, and international players - split between Japan (20), Mexico (2), Canada (2), France (1), and the Netherlands (1) - have a total of 26 spots. <!--Area 51 is not part of the PGR; it's the honorable mentions list-->
*The placements of several players, most notably, {{Sm|Leffen}}, {{Sm|Goblin}}, and {{Sm|Dark Wizzy}}, garnered a bit of controversy and spawned a few memes including "losing points for beating Tweek" and Dark Wizzy's placement.
*Due to his utter dominance throughout the season, MkLeo's player card has since become an ironic meme in the ''Ultimate'' community.

Fall 2019 PGRU
Period active July 13th, 2019-December 15th, 2019
Region Global
Game(s) supported Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Producer(s) Panda Global

The Fall 2019 PGRU lists the best smashers for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Although the season officially started on July 13th, 2019, the tournaments that qualified were not announced due to the previous power rankings being unreleased at that time. The season ended on December 15th, 2019.

Methodology[edit]

PGRU v2 marked the first time invitationals were counted, although players were still required to participate in a certain amount of tournaments in order to qualify for the rankings. The international multiplier returned and factored in PGR-ranked players: each player was counted as 2 points for continental tournaments or 2.5 points for international tournaments. Finally, the B-tier threshold was lowered to 600 points.
