Faceroll is known for being very proficient in {{SSBM|Sheik}}'s down throw [[tech chase]], being able to get at least one or two regrabs off of it. In [[neutral]], he is very composed, rarely overextending or panicking. He is also very consistent all around the board, in neutral, advantage/disadvantage, and [[edgeguarding]]/[[recovery]], with no skill particularly worse than the other. He commonly utilizes dash forward [[wavedash]] back, forward tilt, well spaced landed aerials, as well as focuses on taking control of center stage. Occasionally, when he is playing well, he will deviate from the typical Sheik gameplan and go for unusual, more flashy followups such as comboing with up-b, tech chasing with upthrow, and deep fairs offstage.

Faceroll, formerly Captain Faceroll, is a Melee Sheik main from Chicago, Illinois residing in Irvine, California. He is currently ranked 2nd on the SoCal Melee Power Rankings and 73rd on the SSBMRank 2022. He has wins over top players such as Mew2King, Wizzrobe, iBDW, Swedish Delight, Westballz, Shroomed, Lucky, and Silent Wolf.

Playstyle[edit]

Faceroll is known for being very proficient in Sheik's down throw tech chase, being able to get at least one or two regrabs off of it. In neutral, he is very composed, rarely overextending or panicking. He is also very consistent all around the board, in neutral, advantage/disadvantage, and edgeguarding/recovery, with no skill particularly worse than the other. He commonly utilizes dash forward wavedash back, forward tilt, well spaced landed aerials, as well as focuses on taking control of center stage. Occasionally, when he is playing well, he will deviate from the typical Sheik gameplan and go for unusual, more flashy followups such as comboing with up-b, tech chasing with upthrow, and deep fairs offstage.
