Controversy[edit]

On December 1st, 2021, it was announced by TO group Advantage State on Twitter that Kasmir was banned from attending Minnesota events due to reported cases of harassment.[2] He would later put out his own statement via Twitlonger to speak his peace and contest the vague nature of the ban.[3] His ban was lifted on May 2nd, 2022. Kasmirs ban was reinstated on March 24th, 2023 after additional reports of harassment. [4]

Trivia[edit]

  • The tag "yeti" is a derivation of his nickname Yati, which is short for Yatiyaña.
  • At The Big House 8, he was infamous for using the 🅱 emoji during his "entrance scene". As he proceeded through his bracket, the 🅱 got bigger and bigger every time his entrance scene was shown, the latter of which has since become a meme on Twitter.
