Keep 'Em off the Ship! is a co-op event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, player 1 controls Fox and player 2 controls Falco. They must defeat 4 Mr. Game & Watches with a varied amount of stock without allowing a single one to land on the stage. The Mr. Game & Watches have more stock on higher difficulties. Players are allowed to spike opponents on the stage without penalty. A red and cyan Mr. Game & Watch initially appears. After a few are defeated, a green one appears, and the final white one appears after a few more are defeated. The landing Mr. Game & Watches appear to have reduced gravity, with the ones with their parachutes deployed falling more slowly than the ones that don't. They also have drastically increased launch rates.

Progression

This event is unlocked by clearing the Visiting Onett event and unlocking Mr. Game & Watch. Completing the event does not unlock any further paths. After both the event is completed and Dark Pit is unlocked, the right path is revealed.

Completion of this event on hard difficulty will reward the player with a Critical Hitter Shin Guards equipment.

Trivia

  • This event is essentially the co-op variant of Great Fox Defense with the addition of Fox and more Mr. Game & Watches that each have a different color. They also share a description.
  • The event icon depicts a black, blue, teal, and yellow Mr. Game & Watch despite not being featured in the event.
