Aarvark is a smasher from Southern California who is considered to be the best Smash 4 Villager player in the United States, in front of MJG and SS. He has wins on players such as VoiD, Mr. ConCon, Vinnie, False, Tyrant, K9sbruce, Falln, Static, Xzax and many more. In addition, he is currently locked doubles partners with Elegant, and since their debut at FOW Saga, they have been tearing up the local doubles scene in SoCal. His most recent major, 2GGT: KTAR Saga, was also one of his "breakthrough" tournaments. There, he beat Vinnie in the winner's bracket to make it out of pools, and while in losers, beat Phoenix (who at the time was rank 10 on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings ). Then, he beat False in a close game 5 set and went on to lose to Tyrant right before top 8. He has placed 9th at three sagas, as well as a top 5 placing at Pay it Forward, where he beat Falln in pools.

In addition, he notably placed 17th at The Big House 6, where he took out Static round one of top 32.

He is currently ranked 12th on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings
