Octoroks (オクタロック, Octorok) are common enemies from the Legend of Zelda series.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee
Octoroks appear in the Underground Maze stage of Adventure Mode, as well as rarely from Barrels and Crates. Their design is based on their The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time version.
As the player approaches them, Octoroks start firing rocks which deal damage and knockback depending on the difficulty: on very hard difficulties, they even have KO potential. The rocks can be reflected back at the Octorok by simply shielding. Octoroks take about 2 hits before being defeated, and they are also vulnerable to grabs.
For every Octorok a character KO's, 150 points are added to their Octorok KO bonus.
