:According to my calculations, the value of the knockback multiplier that is related to crouch-cancelling is approximately 0.85x. I'm unsure about whether this is the exact value, but it seems to be very close to that value. LimitCrown (talk) 16:57, 7 March 2015 (EST)
:Hmm, if the multiplier is a proper fraction like the one that is used in Melee, then it's probably equal to 6/7. LimitCrown (talk) 04:14, 9 March 2015 (EDT)

But isn't this applicable to SSBB too as crouching would still reduce knockback? Rhetticus (talk) 13:21, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Myself I think this is almost as DIing. Smiddle ( TalkConts ) 21:12, January 23, 2007 (GMT)

Crouch cancelling is actually mentioned in Brawl's manual (not by name), so yes it would apply. And it's not just another form of DI; sure it does affect your trajectory, but it also affects the actual knockback (unlike DI, which influences only the direction).
