The 1 Button is a small, white button located towards the bottom of the Wii remote, right above the 2 Button. When playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl with the Wii remote and Nunchuk, the 1 Button executes a character's up taunt. If 1 and 2 are pressed together in Nunchuk style, a character does his/her side taunt. When playing with the Wii remote held sideways, the 1 Button is used for special moves. If 1 and 2 are pressed together in horizontal style, your character performs a smash attack.
