The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

2 button
The 2 button (or two button) is a small button located towards the bottom of the Wii Remote, below the 1 button. Both the 1 and 2 buttons match the color of the Wii Remote shell.
Overview[edit]
When playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, the 2 button executes a character's down taunt. 1 and 2 can be pressed together in Nunchuk style to perform a character's side taunt (leaving the 1 button as the up taunt). When playing with the Wii Remote held sideways, the 2 button is used for standard attacks and smash attacks when held with one of the directions of the D-pad at the same time. Pressing 1 and 2 when holding the Wii Remote horizontally can also execute a character's side smash, as well as an up smash or down smash if the correct direction is held.
In Brawl and For Wii U, the 2 button can be remapped to perform other functions.
