Olimar, known on the website as Pikmin & Olimar, was announced to be returning for Super Smash Bros. 4 on July 12th, at around 4:50am Eastern Daylight Time, on the games' official website. His reveal came one day before the release date of Pikmin 3 in Japan, which Sakurai noted in the Miiverse post.[1] He retains Red, Yellow, Blue, White Pikmin, and Purple Pikmin. Olimar uses brighter colours in Super Smash Bros. 4 than he did in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and his whistle is now visible at the bottom of his helmet.
