Bear is a tournament organizer & esports event manager from Beirut, Lebanon who is currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bear is currently the Esports Manager of Esports Arena Las Vegas inside the Luxor on the Las Vegas Strip. He was the player manager for Panda, as well as the manager of their west coast operations. Bear was the Partnerships Manager for start.gg.

Bear has been involved with the competitive Smash 4 scene since the game was first released as a demo for 3DS in September 2014. His tournament organization work ranges from small locals in Las Vegas to very large international events such as GENESIS 3 and EVO 2016.

He is responsible for creating the DVDA tournament series in 2014. DVDA removed the stigma that events in Las Vegas were only hosted by non-local tournament organizers, and helped gather and train Las Vegas smashers with the best on the west coast. Bear's grassroots efforts transformed the DVDA series from a small local tournament into a large regional (sometimes national) level tournament. Bear continues to support his local scene recently working with Esports Arena Las Vegas to bring numerous Super Smash Bros. events along with other esports games.

Bear graduated from UNLV with a Master of Public Administration, hence why his twitter handle is @BearUNLV[1].
