The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Trivia
- Sonix was originally slated to attend the tournament, but could not obtain a Canadian visa in time.[3]
- Jmook became the first person to win a doubles event at BOBC more than once, winning Melee doubles with Cody Schwab after winning the same event with Aura at Battle of BC 4.
- After losing to Jmook in a top 8 qualifier match, Mango sandbagged with Marth against S2J to ultimately finish 9th, his lowest placement in over a year excluding his GENESIS 9 run with Dr. Mario.
- Similar to the previous iteration, where there was a name ditto between Zain and Zain in Melee pools, there was a name ditto between Light and Light in Ultimate bracket (which was also brought to attention on social media).
- Maister was the only player in top 8 of the Ultimate singles bracket that did not attend Kagaribi 10 two weeks prior.
- S2J wore a jersey which misspelled his tag as "2SJ", which has led players and commentators to joke that "2SJ" was a completely different player.
- Cody Schwab became the first player without a permanent sponsor to win a Melee major since Zain at GENESIS 7 three years prior.
