Northern Cave is a Final Fantasy stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is bundled with Sephiroth in Challenger Pack 8, which is also part of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2.
Stage Overview
The stage's background cycles through the events at the end of Final Fantasy VII, where Cloud and his party sets off to defeat Sephiroth.

Origin
Northern Cave is the final dungeon of Final Fantasy 7. The creator was created two thousand years ago when Jenova arrived. Cloud and his party arrive here to defeat Sephiroth who had used the black materia to summon meteor. Believing he was block the power of the white materia's spell holy the party makes it through many dangerous enemies and have one final fight against Jenova. The party then faces Sephiroth, first as Bizzaro Sephiroth and then as Safer Sephiroth and after Cloud engages Sephiroth in a one on one dual in the scripted battle.
