Hi there![edit]
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!
Hey there[edit]
You may want to take it easy on the userspace edits. I've seen you make quite a few of them recently (and not so many mainspace edits). Not really an official warning as much as a preemptive suggestion. Serpent King 22:59, 6 February 2016 (EST)
- K, i'm sorry, probably won't make userspace edits today. Will focus on mainspace :) Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 08:32, 7 February 2016 (EST)
About that Event 37 glitch...[edit]
When too many sounds are played in many games, the music (and other sound effects) may be drowned out. This seems to be an ordinary case of this. After I summoned Zapdos in multiple other modes (as well as the Event match, of course,) and I have come to believe this is the case.
Though this may vary in different versions of the game, (I used a JP version 1.1) I have found nothing to support this claim as a "glitch". Unless you were emulating; this may be due to the emulator. Either way, this is all I've got to say. Ciao! BaconMaster 18:44, 9 February 2016 (EST)

That RfA[edit]
In the future, please heed the archive notice at the top of the page which says "The following discussion is an archived debate of the nomination of a user for adminship. Please do not modify it. No further edits should be made to this page.". Thanks! Serpent King 20:41, 16 June 2016 (EDT)
- I happened to be editing at the same time the archive was put up, but the thing didn't stop me. It was a 1 minute difference. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 20:43, 16 June 2016 (EDT)
Your signature[edit]
Is not acceptable in that it contains a mainspace image. You may reupload the image as a user image and use that instead. Thanks! Serpent King 23:14, 16 June 2016 (EDT)
- But I CAN'T upload. I don't have a computer (I use a Wii U for all of this), so how am I supposed to reupload something? Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 23:17, 16 June 2016 (EDT)
- I could reupload the file for you; you'll just have to change your preferences on your signature. BaconMaster 23:25, 16 June 2016 (EDT)
- By doing what exactly Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 23:27, 16 June 2016 (EDT)

Lol, because I am a huge Sonic fan. I have played Bean Machine, but not Kirby 64 yet. I also love kirby, but haven't played many games. ;-; Hello! It's'a me, Cypher123. ∆u∆ (talk) 22:22, 9 July 2016 (EDT)

When uploading user images[edit]
Please make sure to add the user images category (just insert [[Category:User images]] into the description) to the file page. Serpent King 02:50, 10 July 2016 (EDT)
- oh. i didn't know that's how you did it Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 03:04, 10 July 2016 (EDT)
this[edit]
Summit has a wind effect when the stage is moving down the water, Spear Pillar has none, probably got confused with Palkia's gravity manipulation. Serpent King 19:26, 26 July 2016 (EDT)
About your gallery...[edit]
I've been noticing you uploading quite a few images to a personal gallery lately, and after a certain amount, I now have to speak up about this. Now, I will admit that there are no concrete "limits" as to how many personal images you may have at once, but there comes a point where you start to have "too many". I'm afraid you're now starting to reach that point where it becomes a violation of SW:NOT, specifically the section called "SmashWiki is not an image hosting service". I say this now because seeing your current patterns, you will upload several more in the near future if I don't speak up. I won't force you to delete any images at this time or lay any penalties on you, but I'd like you to know that if it starts becoming too excessive, I will shut it down and delete the gallery, so if you could, please limit it only to the ones you absolutely want to showcase on here, allowing any others to be deleted, and try to save the other ones you have for a site like imgur. Please keep this in mind when uploading personal images in the future. Disaster Flare (talk) 23:48, 4 September 2016 (EDT)
- Oohh... sorry, I get carried away with the tiniest things sometimes. Like if I got a triple Screen KO or something, I would post it, but I guess I won't now. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 03:56, 5 September 2016 (EDT)
Crazy orders[edit]
Uh...ya got 150Hp there bud. Serpent King 16:18, 5 September 2016 (EDT)
- Owait ok nvm lol Serpent King 16:20, 5 September 2016 (EDT)
- Yeah, the edit I reverted said 200 Base HP + Damage Taken Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 16:21, 5 September 2016 (EDT)
Edit summaries[edit]
The focus of an edit summary should be what you are editing, not about any outside topic (yes, including politics). They also should certainly not be used as a form of conversation, that's what IM services are for (and talk pages, but I still want to keep politics out for the most part). Serpent King 18:00, 9 November 2016 (EST)
- ok, i was just taking my anger out on the year 2016 Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 18:18, 11 November 2016 (EST)
- You know, the edit summaries are not made for taking out your anger except if it's userspace, and EVEN then that's questionable depending on the theme you're ranting about. I would recommend you to read SW:NOT to have a more clear idea of what SmashWiki isn't for. -- Feliz Noviembre de parte de BeepYou :) (talk) 18:31, 11 November 2016 (EST)
- It was just one slip-up - I read every "SW" page and I remember most of it, like unintresting trivia and musing on the talk page, I don't really remember anything about edit summaries on an "SW" page. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 18:40, 11 November 2016 (EST)

Look[edit]
It's reasonable to be at least somewhat salty at times, but comments like this are starting to get a little tiresome to see. To be honest, I've had a problem with it from the beginning, but I've looked past it until now. My biggest concern is that SmashWiki tries to be a friendly environment where everyone feels welcome, but when you constantly see comments like that on the Recent Changes every day, it can make people feel a little uncomfortable. Bottom line is, while this is the internet where you are expected to express your salt at everything, SmashWiki is not the place to be doing it. With that in mind, I highly encourage you to try to restrain yourself in the future and take out your salt at more suitable places. Funny comments are okay, but things that come off as outright aggressive, not so much. Disaster Flare (talk) 15:25, 7 February 2017 (EST)
- I actually haven't seen that much negative edit summaries from this user... maybe 2 or 3 but that's it. Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 16:36, 7 February 2017 (EST)
- I can dig up more examples if need be, but only if absolutely necessary. Disaster Flare (talk) 16:38, 7 February 2017 (EST)
- Alright, look. First, I'm sure i'm not the only one who hates that horrible stage, anyway. I try to trash that stage as much as I can because it's virtually unplayable. AND it comes in For Fun way too much. Which annoys me even more. Second, I see many negative edit summaries from other users, including some admins. Third, I've usually made gibberish or jokes edit summaries, that I can accept. But I only probably made 2 edit summaries so far that can come off uncomfortable. Yeezus, sorry for the disease joke. Your nabbit glitch image[edit]
First off, long tine no see, hehe!
Second, I think the nabbit 1.1.6 image you have should be used on the main article, but it has a user images cateogry in it. Is it all right to take that out? Penro 23:46, 4 May 2017 (EDT)
1. Oh hey, Penro! You know, you should use Discord or something, so you know, I could actually talk to you or something without worrying about breaking a rule.
2. Yeah, go ahead, I don't mind when or how any of my images are used. Well, 99.9% of them, at least. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 14:57, 5 May 2017 (EDT)
I'm a little late but (also Mute, please read this too)[edit]
Arguing like that over edit summary is not acceptable. Mute, this applies to you too. Serpent King 01:14, 12 June 2017 (EDT)
We weren't really arguing, just a misunderstanding. But I get what you're saying. Apologies. MuteSpittah (talk) 01:16, 12 June 2017 (EDT)
- Yeah it was a misunderstanding. I wasn't even trying to get it heated. Sorry to both of you. Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 01:20, 12 June 2017 (EDT)

Disappearing Beehives[edit]
Hello. Do you think you could elaborate on the statement on the Beehive article, "Beehives may very rarely destroy themselves."? It needs explanation as to what it is (Is it a bug? The article doesn't specify). Also, it's something of an anecdotal claim, so I'm wondering if you've seen it happen multiple times to be sure it did happen, or if you might have a video. Dr. HyperCake (talk) 03:22, 21 June 2018 (EDT)
- I can say it was definitely unintended, as I saw the hive land on the platform and just break, releasing the bees. This happened to me twice. idk why it was doing that but it was kind of dumb. If it does happen again, I will record it Kirby's Crazy Appetite ~ 13:02, 21 June 2018 (EDT)
- That kind of sounds like what would happen if someone had thrown the hive (say, up), but I'll assume it's not what happened. Thanks, I'll go and expand on it a bit in the article. Dr. HyperCake (talk) 16:57, 21 June 2018 (EDT)
