The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

SSBMT (short for Super Smash Bros. Melee Tournament) was the first Melee tournament series in France, with its first iteration, SSBMT, being the oldest documented Melee tournament in the country. As more tournament organizers began to surface and the original organizers lost interest in the game as a whole, the series died down in 2004.

Trivia[edit]
- Smash à Saint-Cloud, held in October 2003, may have been intended to be named SSBMT4, which would shift the February 2004 tournament's name to SSBMT5.
- This possibility is supported by the fact a tournament named SSBMT6 was scheduled in Nice, France, for August 28th, 2004. The tournament had to be postponed and likely never took place.
- Additionally, Royal Treatment, held in November of that same year, was initially advertised as SSBMT7.
